The Gosnold Reaching
Out program
Addiction
is a disease that affects not just addicted person,
but those closest to them. Family members and loved
ones often feel loneliness, frustration, fear, anger,
shame and a sense of hopelessness.
Reaching Out can help.
The Gosnold Reaching Out program is a resource to help
family members and loved ones affected by addiction.
It gives them access to professionals knowledgeable
about addiction and provides assistance from the time
of the first call through to resolution of the problem.
Family members can develop the skills necessary to intervene
in the destructive course of addiction and, with helping
professionals and peer support, end the merry-go-round
of denial and sustain long term recovery.
Reaching Out can help families understand addiction.
