Title ADMISSIONS SPECIALIST
Location Gosnold Treatment Center, Falmouth
Job Information

Gosnold seeks qualified candidates to handle patient, family, and other referral calls with the goal of assessing needs and helping bring qualified patients into treatment at a Gosnold program.  Duties include conducting brief clinical assessments of prospective patients, providing information about our programs, and providing high quality customer service from the initial call to patient’s admission into treatment. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient patient admissions process and working in collaboration with professional referents, family members, and Gosnold staff.

Ideal candidates will have a clinical background in addiction and mental health.  Prior admissions experience is preferred.  Degree in Marketing or behavioral health is required.  The essential qualities for this position are a strong work ethic, ability to interpret information from telephone assessments, and a commitment to deliver high quality customer service to callers. Highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates with personal experience in recovery or experience working in a treatment setting will be considered in lieu of degree. Must be availalbe to work evenings and weekends.

Title PHYSICIAN – ADDICTION MEDICINE
Job Information

Gosnold on Cape Cod seeks an Addiction Medicine physician with a primary care background to join our organization on scenic Cape Cod. Specific job duties center on ambulatory detoxification, overseeing the Medication Assisted Treatment service primarily using Vivitrol, and participating in the development of primary medical care services.  Specific duties include performing medical evaluations, diagnoses and treatment plans for individuals who suffer from chemical dependency including some with psychiatric illnesses, and overseeing the medical services in the department.  Seeking a team player to work with our multidisciplinary team. Gosnold is a not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of inpatient services with 175 beds in multiple levels of care including detoxification, intermediate and extended care, and assisted sober living. Seven outpatient clinics complement the inpatient programs as do specialized services such as Recovery Coaching, school based services, community prevention programs, primary care integration programs, and a family services division.  With more than 400 professional and support staff, Gosnold is a leader in the implementation of innovative approaches in the treatment of addiction.  

Ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient detoxification and outpatient addiction medicine. Board certification in Addiction Medicine preferred but not required.

Experienced NP to provide direct psychiatric services through patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must have current MA licensure, ANA certification in psychiatric nursing, DPH and DEA authorization to prescribe medications.
